SVG export

in Wouldn't it be nice if... export svg

It would be excellent to have a scalable image format option for export. I prefer SVG for its print and web flexibility, but even postscript or metafile would be an improvement. PDFs are great, but scalable images are much more versatile.

Aren't EMF and PNG scalable?

Who knows? Tableau 4 might even add another format.

Ah, thanks. Not sure how I missed the EMF option. EMF is scalable, yes, but PNG is a raster type. It should the the job for now. As for Tableau 4, I hope more options such as SVG are available, especially with the rumors of enhanced mapping/GIS support.
