The attached image is a table I mocked up in Excel and am trying to construct in Tableau. Mostly done, except for the cells with yellow background. The client is monitoring changes in stock at various milestone dates against a planned net change in stock at some ending date. For example, in a base period, Stock was 100, and the planned net change is +10 by the ending date, for and ending stock of 110. At milestone C, let's say, the cumulative change in Stock is +3, giving a Stock at milestone C of 103. What I need to report is (3/10), or 33.3% of the planned for net change at milestone C. I also have to report the net change from milestone to milestone. To do this I first added a table calculation measure that is a "Difference from" on the Stock field, which gives me the milestone to milestone net change in Stock. Also, I have a table calculation meaure that is a "Difference from First" on the Stock field, so that I can report the cumulative net change (the 3 at milestone C, above). How do I use the results of this "Difference from First" table calculation as the numerator in a Calculated Field, to give me the 3/10 noted above?
