Page Shelf in Dashboard

Hi all,

I really like the mapping analysis capabilities in Tableau and look forward to the new offerings coming soon.

One thing I am interested in is having a page shelf icon on a dashboard. I like to look at changes over time on a map on a single sheet, but would be even happier if I could look at multiple map sheets changing over time in a dashboard (each displaying different data elements, ie employment growth rates, foreclosures, home price changes). Any thoughts of enabling this?

Hi Jeff,

This is a feature I would really like to see! (I work for a large utilities enterprise with over 50,000 FTEs and tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue.)

Another useful feature would be the ability to use multiple selectors with views published to the Tableau server.

This feature is also a frequent request from the main Tableau users at our site.

They have several dashboards that show information for an individual client. Currently, they will use a global quick filter to make the dashboard focus on one client; print PDF, then switch to the next client, print etc. Very timeconsuming when there are dozens of clients in the list.

Being able to use the pages shelf on a dashboard would help tremendously (as long the field on the pages shelf applied to all worksheets on the dashboard, just as a global filter does)

I would like to see this feature added, too.

Please do something to support this issue. I think it would make a lot of people's lives easier.

Joe

This is a request from several of my users as well.

Well. Duly noted.
Cheers.

This would also be VERY helpful for us as we like to focus on individual customer data on dashboards.

Thanks!
Love Tableau!
