Territory Account Manager - Western Region


Job description:

Join a missionary sales team selling one of the hottest products in software!

As a representative selling Tableau’s product suite you will manage the Western territory with customer accounts of all sizes and industries.

Based in the Bay Area or Seattle, the Territorial Account Manager will manage all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, close and account care.

As a member of our successful team you will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team as you coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle: account management, product demonstrations, product support and sales engineering. You will be responsible for expanding Tableau’s footprint within accounts by making the client successful with Tableau through additional training, onsite meetings and reference selling. This role will require 25-35% travel to accounts within the Western Region.

Expectations

  • Excellent strategic selling and account management skills to Global 2000 businesses.
  • Consistent overachievement of sales goals, including quotas, volume and activity levels and complex technical sales within your 5-20 years of direct sales experience. 
  • Demonstrated software sales experience including prospecting and assessing sales potential; account management; moving a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline and closing them quickly.
